- 50 ml vegetable oil (50 g)
- 130 g date purée or chopped dates (½ cup)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- 5 g baking powder (approximately 1 tsp)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 140 g plain flour (1 cup)
- 12 tsp Splenda Granulated (12 g)

In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs, nonfat milk powder, baking soda, and Splenda Granulated until creamy.

Stir in the vegetable oil, milk, and vanilla extract, and mix well.

Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, cinnamon, and baking powder. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a spatula.

If the dates are hard, soak them in a bit of hot water to soften. Chop them into small pieces.

Fold the chopped dates into the batter.

Pour the batter into a greased cake tin. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
