Mango Sorbet

  • 2 large ripe mangos, peeled and roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp SPLENDA® Granulated
  • 2 egg whites
  • juice of 1 lime 


  1. Put the mango and SPLENDA® Granulated in a food processor or liquidiser and blend until smooth.
  2. Add the egg whites and lime juice then blend to combine.
  3. Pour the mixture in to a shallow freezer proof container and freeze for 1 hour.
  4. Remove from the freezer and mash or whisk to break down large crystals.
  5. Return to the container and freeze for at least 3 hours until solid.
  6. Alternatively follow manufacturer’s instructions for an ice-cream machine.
  7. To serve, remove from freezer to soften 10 minutes before scooping. Decorate with mint leaves (optional)
