    Ingredients

    For the cupcakes

    • 190 g all-purpose flour
    • ½ teaspoon baking soda
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • ½ teaspoon cocoa powder
    • 100 ml vegetable oil
    • 150 ml milk
    • 1 egg, room temperature
    • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
    • ½ teaspoon green food coloring
    • 30 g SPLENDA® Granulated

    For the buttercream frosting

    • 110 g unsalted butter, softened
    • 110 g cream cheese
    • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 45 g of SPLENDA® Granulated

    Preheat oven to 175°C.

    Line up your paper cupcake liners. Set aside.

    Mix flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa powder together.

    In a separate bowl, mix Splenda Granulated and oil together.

    Add milk and egg and stir. Add white vinegar and mix well.

    Slowly add dry ingredients into wet ingredients.

    Once batter is formed, add food coloring and mix thoroughly.

    Bake for approximately 20 minutes, and let the muffins cool down.

    To make the buttercream, beat all ingredients in a large bowl using an electric mixer.

    Once ingredients are mixed, smooth and form semi-stiff peaks, the buttercream is ready.

    Scoop into a piping bag with a star tip and frost each green velvet cupcake.
